Prepared with a long-term and forward-looking perspective, the report explained the organic link between the company’s sustainability and business practices by giving examples.
Explaining its sustainability performance since 2013, Adana Cement has taken its activities one step further and announced the results of its activities as an integrated report. In the second report announced by OYAK Cement-Concrete Group this year, Adana Cement, shared the social, environmental and economic dimensions of its work in 2016 with a comprehensive analysis. In the integrated report published under the title ‘To a Greener Future with a White Elegance’; the sustainability practices of the company in, production, R&D, human resources, financial management were explained.
Adana Cement, which has a pre-plan to produce high performance and long service life products with reduced environmental impacts, especially carbon footprint, stated that it operates with profitable and sustainable growth strategy in all business processes managed by value creation vision.
Adana Cement Financial Results of 2016
Adana Cement’s reduced production costs in 2016 and its correct marketing strategy were reflected in its 2016 financial results. Adana Cement, which reached 383 million 989 thousand liras in net sales revenue in 2016, paid taxes of 22 million 153 thousand TL. In 2016, 130 million 943 thousand liras net profit of the period provided. Adana Cement’s total assets reached 779 million 751 thousand liras and the total assets amounted to 935 million 723 thousand TL.
