Following the passing of the late Chairman Mr. Fatih Yücelik, TÜRKÇİMENTO convened a board meeting with the participation of its board members to elect a new chairman. As a result of the election, Mr. Adil Sani Konukoğlu was elected as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of TÜRKÇİMENTO. Elected unanimously, Mr. Konukoğlu will serve in this position until the General Assembly meeting to be held in 2026.
Speaking at the TÜRKÇİMENTO Board of Directors Meeting, the newly elected Chairman, Mr. Adil Sani Konukoğlu, stated:
“Today, as the Board of Directors, we held a meeting with heavy hearts. The cement industry has suffered an unexpected loss. We respectfully commemorate the late Mr. Fatih Yücelik, who made valuable contributions to our Union for many years and led significant initiatives with his visionary leadership. May he rest in peace. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and our entire community.”
The Chairman of the Board of TÜRKÇİMENTO, the late Mr. Fatih Yücelik, had recently passed away in Ankara as a result of a traffic accident.
