Akçansa’s Samsun Ladik Plant has successfully completed the independent audit conducted by the Economic Enterprise of the Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association Quality Assurance System (KGS) and was awarded the “Responsible Sourcing Certificate” at the Gold Level by the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC).
With the Ladik Cement Plant also achieving the CSC Gold Level Certificate, Akçansa has become the first and only building materials producer in Turkey to have all of its cement plants certified at this level.
Continuing its efforts to use resources efficiently, Akçansa is consistently recognized for its sustainability-focused initiatives. The Ladik Plant received its certificate at the gold level with a score of 90.99.
This achievement also marks a significant milestone on a national scale in the area of responsible sourcing. With the addition of the Ladik Cement Plant, Akçansa is now the only company in Turkey whose all cement plants hold the CSC Gold Level Certificate.
