The Akçansa Büyükçekmece Factory successfully completed the independent audit conducted by the Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association Quality Assurance System (KGS), renewing its Responsible Use of Resources Certificate at the gold level, with an increased score of 92.2.
With this achievement, Akçansa, after its Çanakkale Factory, holds the second highest score in Turkey for the Responsible Use of Resources Certificate and has made a significant accomplishment in the industry. The company continues to receive awards for its sustainability-focused projects on efficient resource use.
While renewing its gold-level certificate with the Büyükçekmece Factory, Akçansa raised its score to 92.2, marking a major success. Holding the highest score in the industry with the Çanakkale Factory, Akçansa now ranks second in Turkey with the Büyükçekmece Factory, taking an important step forward.
Vecih Yılmaz, General Manager of Akçansa, stated that the company operates in all regions based on the principle of “responsible work for the future” and that the awards they have received make them proud. Yılmaz added: “We increased our score compared to the previous evaluation period and renewed it at the gold level. We are proud of this success. With both our Çanakkale and Büyükçekmece factories, we are ranked in the top two positions in the industry.
