Having been exported for many years from the Çanakkale port Akçansa’s ASTM C150 Type I/II Portland cement has now attained the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Certificate issued by The International EPD System.
Commenting on the subject, M. Zeki Kanadıkırık, the General Manager of Akçansa said: “As Turkey’s leading building materials company, we focus on doing good creating for all of our stakeholders with the innovative efforts we carry out while creating value for the Turkish economy in the regions where we are operating within the scope of our sustainability goals. As a product we have been exporting for many years, we share the environmental impacts of our ASTM C150 Type I/II cement product throughout its entire life cycle in a transparent and comparable manner with the EPD certificate in this context. We will go on carrying out activities that create value with the slogan “Plus Life”.”
