Akçansa has achieved a significant success in the International Women-Friendly Brands 2025 Awareness Awards. Competing among 51 projects that passed the preliminary evaluation in six different categories, the company was honored in the “Women’s Employment and Equal Opportunities in the Workplace” category.
A joint venture of Sabancı Holding and Heidelberg Materials, Akçansa received this prestigious award with its GençİZ Long-Term Internship Program for Women, which supports female students in gaining experience in the building materials industry. During the evaluation process, which included a detailed analysis of the projects’ impact on social transformation, Akçansa’s efforts toward gender equality were highly praised.
