Akçansa announced its financial results related to the first quarter of 2018. Accordingly, the first quarter sales income of the company is 387.6 million TL and the period income is 41.7 million TL.
Akçansa General Manager Şahap Sarıer stated that they are focusing on developing special products and services according to the requirements of the market and mega projects in recent years and he said “After the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, which has the firsts in the world literature, this time we are one of the suppliers of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which will carry the title of the world’s largest suspended-deck suspension bridge. In this project, giant concretes prepared in special pools for foundation of bridge will be immersed deep in water and iron abutments will be placed on them. We believe that this challenging project that already attracts the attention of our industry stakeholders will be written to the world literature too”. At the same time, Sarıer underlined the fact that they focused on new investments on the energy and sustainable environment, on renewable energy resources and on efficiency and sustainability through waste management practices.
