Operating in the Aegean region, the Western Turkey’s Anadolu Group, one of the largest industrial groups announced its export target as 40 million dollars.
Feyyaz Ünal Executive Committee Member of Batı Anadolu Group emphasizing that Turkey was one of the five countries in the world which exported the most cement in 2017 said that: “The export increase in the cement sector was 12.2 percent in 201. In 2017, a total of 12.7 million tons of cement exports were realized from our country. A value of $ 530 million was provided as foreign exchange inflow. We expect exports to increase in both quantity and value in 2018.
Ünal said that the group with its new and largest investment in the last period, Batısöke production line, has increased the capacity of total clinker production to 4 million tons and the export figure will reach 40 million dollars per year.
