Çimsa Mersin Plant is one of the winners of “Cement Sector Occupational Health and Safety Awards” which are conferred to the member cement plants which demonstrate the best occupational health and safety performance, through evaluation made by OHS Committee of Cement Industry Employers Association (ÇEİS).
Making evaluations regarding the award, General Manager of Çimsa, Ülkü Özcan said “I am so glad to receive this award that our Mersin plant was conferred upon, on behalf of the entire Çimsa family. We commenced our journey in this sector in 1972, in Mersin and our Çimsa Mersin Plant became the only plant in the world to combine three different cement product groups in one plant. We will continue our operations as a leader cement manufacturer pioneering the sector as we have been for nearly 50 years.”.
