Authorization Agreement was signed between the “ÇEİS Examination and Certification Center” (ÇESBEM) and the Vocational Qualifications Authority which are established within the Cement Industry Employers’ Union (ÇEİS). ÇESBEM, which was established with an investment of 1 million TL in order to ensure the development of a qualified workforce specific to the Turkish cement sector, will carry out its activities as the first institution to hold an examination of proficiency in the cement sector.
The “ÇEİS Examination and Certification Center”, which is established by ÇEİS with the aim of “not remaining any uncertified employee in the sector”, is accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) to give the certificate of professional competence after the exam, and then authorized by the Vocational Qualifications Authority with an agreement signed at 16 May 2018.
ÇEİS, which employs 17 thousand 500 people across Turkey became the first institution holding a professional qualification exam and constituting the certification system.
ÇEİS Accelerated Its Training And Employment Mobilization
ÇEİS signed a cooperation protocol with Kocaeli Vocational School of Higher Education. Using the Central Control Operator-Furnace, Central Control Operator-Raw Mill, Central Control Operator-Cement, Machine Maintenance Servicer, Chemistry Laboratory Analyst and Cement Testing Servicer Professional competancies as a base, it provided elective courses relevant to the curriculum of Vocational School of Higher Education. ÇEİS aims to contribute to employment as well as to increase the number of qualified employee in the sector by signing this agreement with Kocaeli Vocational School of Higher Education.
