Cimsa, as a Sabanci Holding subsidiary, made a successful start to 2019 as the innovative company in Turkish cement sector. In the first quarter of 2019, Cimsa had a net sales revenue of TL 336 million and a net profit of TL 18 million.
Cimsa General Manager Ulku Ozcan said: “As the digital cement company of the future, we entered 2019 with a strong performance. In the first quarter, we achieved a strong increase of 54%, especially with the high performance we achieved in our overseas sales. As in 2018, we will continue throughout 2019 to raise Cimsa’s value and reputation on a global scale with our projects in the fields of innovation, R&D and digitalization, giving importance to Industry 4.0 projects. Thanks to our experience of nearly 50 years in the cement sector, we will continue our goals towards being transparent, accountable, accurate and reliable towards the environment and society.

Ozcan said: “We took place as the global player of the sector in 2018 especially in the field of white cement and custom products. And we started 2019 with the inclusion of Bunol Factory, the most technological white cement factory of Europe, into our production and distribution network. We will continue to strengthen our global player identity in 2019 with our extensive logistics structure and continue our efforts to support the economy and development of our country.”
