Carrying out sustainable and permanent value-creating activities in line with the power and vision that it inherits from Sabanci, Cimsa continues to focus on social benefit and sustainability as a must of its business model, in addition to its contributions to the country’s economy and industry development. Cimsa carried out its corporate social responsibility project that has been carried out since 2015 with the contributions of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality under the scope of 10-16 May; the Disability Week.
Launching the project with the aim of raising awareness about the inclusion of people with disabilities in social life and to draw attention to the problems they face every day, Cimsa presented battery operated wheelchairs to the people in need with the ceremony held on 10 May 2019 Friday in Mersin Metropolitan Municipality.
By 2019, Cimsa has provided a total of 191 battery operated wheelchairs to the needy in five years and aims to raise the level of individual and social welfare.
