CTN – CTP Group and Medcem Cement have agreed on the construction of a new plant that will generate energy from 10 MW of waste heat, to be commissioned within the scope of green energy. Özkan Çetin, the General Manager of CTN Group and Murat Kahya, the General Manager of Medcem Cement attended the signing ceremony held at the 16th TÜRKÇİMENTO International Technical Seminar and Exhibition in Antalya, where the world cement industry gathered. Medcem Cement will ensure recovery of 10 MWh of energy by making use of AQC process in Clinker Production Line II, which will be the largest project in Turkey that employs WHR ORC technology to generate energy from waste gas. The project will be commissioned in 2023.
