“Concrete Technology and Accurate Concrete Applications Seminar” was held by Turkey Ready Mixed Concrete Association (THBB) in Konya. Civil engineers, contractors, architects and concrete producers showed great interest in the seminar. Within the scope of the seminar, the presentations were conducted as follows; “Recent Developments in the World and in Turkey Ready Mixed Concrete Industry” by THBB Technical and Sustainability Director Koray Sacliture, “Recent Developments in Concrete Technology” by Former Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Dr. Mehmet Ali Tasdemir, and “Quality Audits in Concrete” by THBB Quality Assurance System Director Selcuk Ucar.
Having a word in the seminar, which was organized with the aim of making quality concrete production and concrete application, THBB Technical and Sustainability Director Koray Sacliture said that They prepared a “Preamble Concrete Guide” with Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanization,Presidency of the High Council of Science and that “Preamble concrete provides several environmental benefits such as reducing the floods caused by excessive rainfall and allowing the renewal of groundwater by bringing rain water to the ground.
