Building materials industry’s umbrella organization Turkey İMSAD made the 36th Ordinary Financial General Assembly. At the 36th Ordinary Financial General Assembly, it was decided to increase the duration of the presidency to 3 years. Thus Ferdi Erdoğan, assumed the presidency of Turkey İMSAD for two more years. For many years he served in various periods in boards of managements of Turkey İMSAD, Ferdi Erdoğan, stated that he is very happy for performing the presidency service for the industry and continued: “We represent one of Turkey’s most powerful industries. We export to more than 100 countries. According to 2017 data our sectors share is 10.4 percent of Turkey’s total export and our contribution to current deficit is 183 percent. As the sector we made a good start to the new year. In 2017, our exports increased by 8 percent and reached to 16.4 billion dollars. We expect our exports to reach 17-18 billion dollars in 2018.
