A joint venture of Sabancı Holding and Heidelberg Materials, Akçansa has made a groundbreaking move in the building materials industry by publishing its 2024 Integrated Annual Report in an accessible digital format. Compliant with the Türkiye Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS), this report also stands out as the first Barrier-Free Integrated Annual Report ever published in Türkiye.
Aligned with international frameworks such as the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and TSRS, the report is based on nearly 500 verified sustainability indicators and was designed to ensure equal access to information for all.
Developed with inclusive accessibility features for individuals with visual and hearing impairments, people with dyslexia, and the elderly, the digital report offers a user-friendly interface, sign language modules, and audio narration to accommodate diverse user needs.
With this initiative, Akçansa not only reinforces its commitment to sustainability but also sets a new benchmark in the industry by championing social inclusion and accessibility.
