Çimsa was listed in the top 10 innovaLİG-Innovation Awards organized by Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) and has been the first cement company granted with Certificate of Excellence. Furthermore, it broke a new ground in the sector with its application ‘The Name of the Formula’, promised 7/24 digital experience to its partners and led the technologic innovation.
Çimsa that is one of the subsidiaries of Sabancı Holding became of the companies that proved their success in innovation in İnovaLİG, which was organized for the fourth time this year by TİM and international management consultancy company IMProve Academy and broke a new ground in the cement sector. In İnovaLİG Innovation Awards, where 971 companies compete on the basis of their innovation capabilities, Çimsa was listed in the top 10 in “Innovation Organization and Culture” and awarded with Certificate of Excellence.
In addition to the support it gives to “Turkish Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week” organized and hosted with the support of the Republic of Turkey, Ministry of Economy and by Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), Çimsa has proven the importance it pays to research, development, renewal and change, with its success in İnovaLİG that is Turkey’s first innovation development program.
Leading the sector with its innovative perspective, Çimsa focuses on the sector’s needs and expectations with its investments in R&D and innovation and aims to create a difference in the sector with technological solutions. Founded in Mersin in 2000 with this perspective, Formülhane, the R&D Center was registered by the Republic of Turkey, Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology in March 2017, and became the first and only R&D Center in the cement sector that is approved by the Ministry.
Nevertheless, Çimsa has become the first cement company that promises 7/24 digital experience to its business partners with its mobile application “The Name of the Formula” that is downloaded on all IOS and Android smart phones and tablets and has led another technological innovation.
