Organized in rotation by five long-established universities in Turkey, the International Mineral Processing Symposium (IMPS) has been an important meeting point in the sector for more than 35 years. Contributed by Dokuz Eylül University, Istanbul Technical University, Middle East Technical University, Hacettepe University and Eskişehir Osmangazi University, this event has developed into a platform for discussion of the latest developments in the mineral processing industry, facilitating exchange of knowledge and experience.
Organized since 1986, the symposium has increasingly become an internationally recognized event. Held bi-annually, the event gathers together the scientists, industrial representatives and academicians, both from Turkey and other countries, to discuss current topics in the mineral processing industry. Where as much important as the academic input and contributions is the input from public and private sectors, the symposium has thus proven its success for long years.
Hosted by Eskişehir Osmangazi University this year, 18th International Mineral Processing Symposium will take place in Eskişehir on October 18-16, 204.
Dedicated to invaluable memory of Prof. Güven Önal, President of Development of Local Mining, and Prof. Hüseyin Özday, who chaired the 13th International Mining Processing Symposium, 18th International Mining Processing Symposium will address the latest developments in the industry, shedding light on the future of the industry.
