Anka Plant of Limak Cement, one of the leading companies in Turkish cement sector, has been awarded the Platinum Certificate by the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC), a leading global platform for sustainability assessment. Anka Plant became the first and only integrated cement plant in Türkiye to receive this prestigious certification.
Ranked among the most sustainable and technologically advanced cement facilities in the sector, Limak Cement’s Anka Plant achieved a score of 95.2 out of 100 in the CSC evaluation, earning the Platinum certification. Following comprehensive and rigorous assessments in four main categories—management, environmental, social, and economic performance—Anka Plant was granted the Platinum certificate as of October 1, 2025, thereby internationally recognizing its high sustainability performance.
Globally, only 10 cement production facilities have achieved CSC Platinum certification, while at the corporate level, only three institutions hold this distinction.

Commenting on the achievement, Limak Cement Global CEO Erkam Kocakerim stated: “At Limak Çimento, we conduct all our operations with a focus on sustainability and innovation, leading our industry with green transformation-oriented products and solutions. The Platinum certification awarded to our Ankara plant by CSC, one of the most respected platforms in the sector, represents a significant international achievement. This prestigious certificate is a tangible demonstration of our sustainable production vision and a strong confirmation that the steps we take toward a more sustainable future are recognized at the global level. Limak Cement will continue to lead our industry in sustainability and innovation.”
