While the construction of the highway is targeted to last 4 years, the highway is expected to be operated for 25 years.
The 12.5 km highway project will be comprised of 4 lanes in total, two of which are in the opposite direction. Project includes a 1.250 m tunnel as well as bridges and viaducts whose total length amounts to 2.600 m.
With a daily capacity of 22,700 vehicles, the highway will connect Ufa to another highway in the east.
Limak will realize the project in cooperation with Marashstroy, the company with which it is already in partnership for Rostov Airport in Russia.
‘It will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries’
“We will complete this project in 4 years.” said Serdar Bacaksız, Member of Board of Directors at Limak Holding as he made evaluations in this regard. “The project is quite interesting in terms of engineering. “It is comprised of a long tunnel as well as bridges and viaducts that are 2.600 m long. It is the biggest work to be conducted by the Turkish contracting companies after the relationship with Russia changed for the better. We believe that the fact that our company has been granted by the opportunity of both investing in this project and operating it will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries. We are a company that aims to be permanent in the regions we go to as Limak. This investment, as a publicprivate investment project at the same time, indicates that we are permanent in Russia in the long term.
