CIMPOR and OYAK Cement, part of TCC Group Holdings, were awarded in the “Corporate Awareness” category as part of the “15th Awareness Awards” organized by the Institute of Internal Auditing Türkiye.
OYAK Cement was recognized in the “Corporate Awareness” category within the Awareness Awards, organized by the Institute of Internal Auditing Türkiye (TİDE) for 15 years, to honor institutions and individuals contributing to the development and dissemination of professional awareness and those making a difference in the social field.

Objective: Understanding the Added Value of Internal Audit
The “Awareness Awards,” given by the TİDE Board of Directors, are organized to encourage and support efforts to create societal and corporate awareness about the internal audit profession and its values. Within the framework of this annual organization, it is aimed to increase societal and corporate awareness regarding the important role internal audit plays in strong corporate governance, internal controls, and effective risk management. In this context, best practice examples are rewarded to ensure the added value of internal audit is understood, widely accepted, and that correct practices are disseminated. Additionally, through these awards, it is aimed to enhance and increase awareness in academic, individual, societal, and corporate fields.
