The World Cement Association (WCA) announced that Turkey’s OYAK Cement Group joined the fast-growing international membership network.
Founded a short time ago, the Association keeps growing with the network of members and representatives from 26 countries.
Norman Greig, Secretary General at the World Cement Association, stated that they were quite pleased with the fact that OYAK Cement joined the global cement community. “We are looking forward to working in cooperation with OYAK Cement and our other members in order to introduce cement industry all around the world and share the best implementations in the sector.” he said.
Representing 15.3% of the entire clinker produced in Turkey with an annual production of 11.3 million metric tons, OYAK Cement is a cement producer which manufactures 14.5 million metric tons annually with its 10 manufacturing plants in Turkey in a leading position across the country on the basis of capacity.
