Prof. Dr. Yasemin Açık, Chairperson of Board of Directors of Seza Çimento has ranked as the 44th in “Turkey’s 50 Most Powerful Businesswomen List” released for the 9th time this year by Fortune Magazine which is one of the leading publications of the business world. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Açık succeeded to get to the 5th place in the list, where she was introduced to it last year from 49th rank.
Listing the visionary and innovative women from Turkish business world “Fortune 50 Most Powerful Women List” is established according to the criteria of magnitude of the managed company and its significance in the global economy, performance and direction of the organization, the development path followed by the executive in her career and her influence in sociocultural development. The successful names in the list have significance in terms of demonstrating the performance of women workforce. Highlighting that Prof. Dr. Yasemin Açık who is a public health expert, had the title of being the only women who directly invested in Turkish cement sector, Fortune stated that Seza Çimento will give emphasis to investments on logistics and port operations which will play a significant role particularly in overseas cement export this year.
