The 4th International Seminar on Hardfacing and Repair Maintenance Welding Applications was organized in Antalya between 18-21 October 2017. Cement sector showed a great interest in the seminar held by ReWeld Kaynak and UTP Maintenance.
The seminar organized for the fourth time by ReWeld Kaynak Kaplama San. Ve Tic. Ltd. Şti, known for their professional works in the recovery of the equipment that has become inoperable after corrosion by means of welded renewal, and UTP Maintenance under Voestalpine, had a huge turnout from the cement sector.

Making a statement on the seminar, Ümit Alpdoğan, General Manager at ReWeld Kaynak Kaplama, gave the following information regarding the 4th International Repair Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance Welding: “As in every year, world-renowned Chinese Sinoma and Indian Holtec, conducting plant installation as well as productivity-raising modernization works in Turkey also made presentations at our seminar, where Cement and Energy Plants Maintenance and Purchase Groups took part, and they shared information about the latest developments. Deciding to get into the sector alongside us and running business under Voestalpine, German Eurostahl running business regarding rolling mill products shared its knowledge on the Corrosion- Proof Sheets.
Maintenance groups in the sector are the groups that work intensively and look for solutions constantly in order to run plants with minimum shutdown and maximum production time.
Our seminar’s objective is to share our new products and applications with the sector and draw the sector together so that they can share their knowledge and experience in other problems they face.
For the purpose of introducing our applications, we are planning with German UTP Maintenance to organize our technical seminars abroad in cooperation with the Authorized Seller Distributors in Middle East and Turkic Republics. For this reason, our works continue to realize our seminars in 3 pilot countries selected for 2018.”
Guests both received technical training and enjoyed the last days of the summer at the seminar that gave place to business and entertainment at the same time.
