The new chairman of Mitsubishi Electric Turkey, which has been providing support for air conditioning, factory automation, robotics and CNC mechatronic systems, as well as satellite, elevator and escalators, visual data, power supplies and transport infrastructure, has become Şevket Saraçoğlu. Saraçoğlu, who took over the flag from Masahiro Fujisawa as of April 1, will manage operations in Turkey, which Mitsubishi Electric
Saraçoğlu started his career in NETAŞ Northern Telecom and then worked in fields of textile printing and drying machines and building automation in Alarko Holding. He was responsible for establishing a new department within the company and for control systems of cement factories in Korona Corporate Group. Saraçoğlu, was the founding partner of the General Technical Systems (GTS) in 1992. When GTS became the Turkey distributor of Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation Systems in 1993, Saraçoğlu’s path merged with Mitsubishi Electric brand. After Mitsubishi Electric’s purchase of GTS in 2013, he served as General Manager of Mitsubishi Electric Turkey Factory Automation Systems.
Şevket Saraçoğlu graduated from İstanbul Erkek Lisesi and completed his undergraduate in Istanbul Technical University Electrical Engineering Department. Saraçoğlu, who speaks English very well, is married and has two children.
