Önder Demirci, Sustainability Department Manager at Sintek Group, stated:
“At Sintek, our priority has always been not only to deliver projects but also to create added value for our clients while embracing an approach that takes environmental and social responsibilities into account. Although sustainability principles have long been embedded in our business processes, in recent years we have begun to take more concrete actions and develop comprehensive programs in this field. Our initiatives in resource efficiency, eco-friendly technologies, and generating social value are driving our sustainability vision into operational practice, enabling us to differentiate within the industry and secure long-term success. With the support of the Green Deal Compliance Project under the Responsible Program launched by the Ministry of Trade, we will develop a sustainability roadmap. This roadmap will include concrete actions across a wide range of areas, from reducing carbon emissions to energy and water efficiency projects, from circular economy practices to digitalization. At the end of the process, our goal is not only to minimize our environmental impact but also to strengthen our competitiveness and alignment in export markets. We consider this process as a strategic tool for transformation that will raise awareness within the company and reinforce a data-driven decision-making culture. We are pleased to implement this journey by leveraging PwC’s global expertise and will resolutely continue our commitment to being a pioneer of green transformation in our sector.”
Operating abroad through its offices in the USA, Africa, the Netherlands, and Portugal, Sintek Group continues to deliver turnkey industrial plants for the cement, energy, iron-steel, and heavy industry sectors, while also expanding into various complementary business areas that support its core operations.
