VEGA maintains its strong position in the sector for over 60 years. How do you evaluate your position in the Turkish market?
As VEGA Türkiye steps into our 12th year, it is a great source of pride for us to see that VEGA products have been actively used in our country for nearly 50 years. The trust we have provided and our sector experience have played a major role in our success as the first brand that comes to mind when it comes to level and pressure measurement. In addition, the dedicated work of our VEGA Türkiye team and our customer-oriented approach are the cornerstones of this success. The great momentum we have gained in the last 5 years is a result of this strong foundation and our continuous development efforts.
What are the main products and services offered by VEGA? Could you inform about the key factors that set you apart in the competition?
The most important one what sets us apart is our company’s human-oriented approach and values. Among our special solutions for the cement sector, our cloud-based software system stands out, which provides Cyclone Clogging Radioactive Measurement and remote access to concrete plants, allowing to retrospectively track the measurements of all silos in all plants from a single point.
What are the advantages of your special solutions for the cement and concrete industry? Could you provide details about the products and services you offer to this sector?
Among our special solutions for the cement sector, our cloud-based software system stands out, which provides Cyclone Clogging Radioactive measurement and remote access to concrete plants, allowing to retrospectively track the measurements of all silos in all plants from a single point.
This vapor phase, which cools and condenses during the movement of the raw meal in the cyclones, adheres to the inner surfaces of the cyclones in the preheating towers and to the raw meal. As a result, over time, this adherence form layers on the inner surfaces of the cyclones, which lead to clogging. Continuous control of the layer thickness ensures process run uninterruptedly and reduces downtimes.
You can monitor clogging by performing Radiometric Measurement in cyclones to obtain precise and accurate measurement results without being affected by process conditions and to ensure complete process safety by detecting adherences. High plant efficiency is achieved thanks to the radiometric contactless measurement method.
What advantages do your digital solutions and software integrations offer to process industries? How do these solutions make a difference in operational processes?
VEGA Inventory System offers suppliers the opportunity to keep track of the inventory status of their customers’ silos in real time. Thanks to this system, it becomes possible to control the silos in the concrete plants you own or of your clients from a single point. VEGA aims to facilitate the business processes of manufacturing companies by using software that is integrated with maps and has all valid security certificates in logistics planning. In addition, it allows businesses to store their data securely in the cloud by maintaining data security.
Among the advantages it provides to suppliers are the opportunity to quickly access historical and current data and to make stock planning more efficient and cost effective. Thanks to the Route Planning processes supported by optimization, it contributes to sustainability goals by saving more and using less fuel. In addition, this system offers suppliers the opportunity to establish longterm, reliable business relationships with their customers.
How do you evaluate the long service life and low cost advantages of your products? How do these benefits contribute to customer satisfaction?
Seeing VEGA products still functional after many years is the most solid proof of our quality and durability. We not only create hightech, functional and simple designs, but also focus on developing long-lasting and reliable products. Thanks to this approach, we create satisfied customers and reinforce our reliability in the sector. As VEGA, we always aim to provide sustainable solutions that meet the needs of users in the best way.
What place do sustainability and environmental responsibility take in VEGA’s strategy? What are your goals for these areas in your future plans?
Sustainability and environmental responsibility are at the core of VEGA’s strategic approach. We meticulously plan and implement our steps in this field in our Türkiye office as well as our Germany head office. While we take various measures to increase energy efficiency in our offices, we take care to use resources efficiently. For instance, we have turned to environmental-friendly alternatives by eliminating single-use plastics and reducing paper consumption. In addition, we carry out active efforts to minimize waste consumption by increasing the recycling rate of waste.
Our sustainability approach is also reflected in our product design. The devices we design have less impact on the environment with their long life and low energy consumption. Our future plans include further developing environmental-friendly production processes and constantly monitoring and improving the environmental impacts of our products. In addition, we aim to raise strong awareness on this issue by making our employees aware of sustainability.

What kind of vision and strategy does it require to manage and lead an operation across Türkiye? What were the biggest challenges you encountered in this process?
Managing and leading an operation across Türkiye requires a strong vision and strategic thinking skills. The biggest challenge and also the biggest source of support in this process is the “human” factor. A team that is open to change, motivated and embracing the vision makes things easier. However, when formulating a strategy, strategic challenges such as adapting to uncertain and rapidly changing market conditions and remaining flexible at all times become important. At this point, success is made possible if your team members believe in the vision created, trust each other and focus on common goals.
