OKT, which leads the development of students of Mimar Sinan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and to make converge the students to vocational high schools within the framework of ‘My Future is Mine’ social responsibility projects, aims to utilize the Autonomous Robot in the factory production areas which produced using the artificial intelligence technology and show up during the opening of TUBITAK Fair and produced after being made available.
Renewable Energy Technologies Department Chief Erhan Dinçer, who has a great contribution in the realization of the robot, made these explanations about the Autonomous Robot; “This robot, which uses artificial intelligence technologies of Industry 4.0, is equipped with a solar panel option. At this moment, it takes its energy from its own power source. Our autonomous robot which can be commanded by computer, phone or a remote controller and it can work on its own with certain coordinates without harming anyone and without taking any direction from people. The autonomous robot, which will provide great benefits in factories, will carry up materials up to 50 kilos.“
OKT Trailer R&D Director Ferda Peker who attended the opening part of the fair said; “I am pleased that Robotics Club students and teachers materialized the Autonomous Robot Project and that we have contributed to this beautiful and useful project. I would like to congratulate them and hope that the robot will be available on the factories as soon as possible. I hope that in our R&D center which will be open very soon, we will be working with our beloved teachers and students in variable projects.”
