In the measurement technologies seminars it held in Istanbul and Izmir on November 20-22, 2018, VEGA Turkey explained the new trends in and advantages offered by level measurement with 80 Ghz Radar Technology for all process industries with cement industry being in the first place, and radioactive source level, density and pressure measurements for the cement sector. Following the speech made by Bahadır Avcı, General Manager of VEGA Turkey about the company, company culture and approach of the company to the sector, VEGA Global Product Managers, namely, Clemens Hengstler and Natalie Waldecker made detailed and applied presentations regarding the latest measurement technologies developed by the company. Clemens Hengstler, stated that 80 GHz radar technology was adopted by the market in a very short time in an unexpected manner and replaced 26 GHz in many process industries. Hengstler said “80 GHz radar sensors demonstrate the possibility of universal use in level applications of various industries. Used in level measurement of liquid materials VEGAPULS 64, provides repetitive measurement results with precision even in case of condensations or adhesions on the antenna, thanks to its strong focusing function. Offering the possibility of being equipped with the smallest antenna among its own class of sensors, this sensor can be used even in the most confined and small spaces. 80 GHz takes the measurement function to a further level also in solid and bulk materials. Regardless of being a material which produces dust or adheres on the sensor. VEGAPULS 69 possesses the feautures and focusing functions required to deal with such measurement conditions in a reliable manner.”. VEGA, the pioneer company offering level and density measurement products in radioactive source measurement technologies to process industries for many years, presented the innovations in the cement industry, application examples and innovations in measurement technologies with detailed project explanations to the particip ants. In addition, creating a significant difference in the process industries with electronic differential pressure products, VEGA facilitates the work of field teams by developing new product technologies that are affected less by the temperature differences and blockages.
