As a result of 4th Yeşil Nokta Environment Awards organized by Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association (THBB), the four facilities of Çimsa are considered worthy of ‘Yeşil Nokta Environment Award”. The Award Ceremony was held on 14 June, Thursday in The Marmara Hotel Taksim. Among 10 facilities deemed worthy of award, there are Pamukova, Kozan, Misis and İnegöl facilities of Çimsa.
15 June 2012; Istanbul – Yeşil Nokta Environment Awards Competition award ceremony organized for the 4th time by Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association (THBB) this year was held in The Marmara Hotel Taksim on 14 June, Thursday. Çimsa participated in the competition with Pamukova Facility in Sakarya, Kozan and Misis Facilities in Adana, and İnegöl Facility in Bursa. All these 4 facilities included in 10 facilities that received ‘Yeşil Nokta Environment Award’. The reward plates were accepted by Deputy General Manager Hüseyin Özkan and Facility Managers Volkan İşisağ, Fırat Fırat and Çağdaş Serttaş on behalf of Çimsa. 3 facilities to be selected among those that received ‘Yeşil Nokta Environment Award’ will represent Turkey in ERMCO – European Ready Mixed Association 2012 Ready Mixed Concrete Congress.
It is aimed at promoting production and service in compatible with natural and urban environment.
Turkish Ready Mixed Association (THBB) has been endeavoring in Turkey for 23 years to ensure the production of concrete in accordance with its standards and correct concrete applications in the constructions. With Yeşil Nokta Environment Awards Competition, it is aimed at production and service in compatible with natural and urban environment. THBB makes efforts for supporting and developing concrete manufacturers that are member of THBB, not only in technical terms, but also environment and employee safety. Under the scope of the competition, the inspection teams of THBB visited and inspected the facilities. In addition to the cleanness, aesthetic appearances and green space of the facilities, the facilities were also evaluated for such environment control elements as protection of air quality, noise, waste water control, fuel, oil and chemical material management, solid waste management and traffic management.
