As you already mentioned before, the year 2021 was a very busy period in which the effects of the pandemic continued intensely and the strategies made due to this uncertainty were renewed. The fact that the industry continues to produce nonstop despite of all this uncertainty, has brought along very positive developments for our country. As the production of the industry increased, the automation investments of companies also increased. With our end-of-line palletizing and packaging solutions we continued to contribute to the industry by showing as much support as we can with our strong engineering team to meet the demands in sectors such as construction chemicals, food and hygiene, and especially the cement sector.
Turkey met most of the increasing demand in 2021
In 2021, there were events that affected many sectors both in Turkey and in the world. The positive result of the pandemic, especially in 2021, has made technology-related investments inevitable in many industries. There was also a significant increase in demand for end-of-line palletizing and packaging. Considering these developments, we continued to support our business partners with our projects. Turkey met most of the increasing demand in 2021. This led to the growth of many sectors. However, despite the recent problems in the supply chain, companies that followed a correct strategy were able to respond to the demands. We have created the right supply chain planning with our strong purchasing team and continued to support our business partners by advancing with the right strategies in stock management.
The year 2021 was quite a bright year for our company. We have increased our turnover 3-fold and our export rate from 40% to 75% We have entered markets we could not before and expanded our overseas markets. We have exported to Western Europe for a long time. Now, we are exporting to Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East and have increased our volume.
We will continue to provide added value by combining technology and engineering
The year 2022 had a difficult start, especially when we consider the economic conditions in our country. As Keramik Makina we will continue to produce and provide added value by combining technology and engineering. This year we will exceed our increasing export volume and continue to grow.
