Technologies for reducing the environmental impact of cement factories are increasing day by day. How do you think carbon neutral factories will affect the future of the cement industry?
In the cement sector, the search for alternative sources will expand as well as directing the factories to work more efficiently. Each factory will be producing the energy it consumes to a large extent. In addition, environmental practices will be the main actor. This, in turn, will develop new economic models in terms of finance.
What kind of sensitivity do you, as a company, show about the environment? What are the strategies you follow and actions you take in this field?
Our factory is in the process of obtaining EIA permission to establish a 19 MWe SPP on 242 decares of raw material land. It will be in a zero-carbon production process, without purchasing any electrical energy, together with the WHR power plant from waste gas in a daylight environment.
