The HOW-Hub of Warehouse Fair, presenting all the latest innovations in next-generation warehouse and intralogistics systems—from stacking machines and automation solutions to racking systems and robotic technologies—will take place at the Istanbul Exhibition Center from September 18 to 20, 2025.
The fluid power sector, which achieved an export volume of 620 million Euros in 2024, will also be represented at the fair under the leadership of the Fluid Power Association (AKDER). The sector will showcase hydraulic and pneumatic systems, sealing solutions, and environmentally friendly automation topics to visitors in terms of sector knowledge and collaborations. Leading figures in the industry will focus on new markets, green transformation, and technological adaptation at the fair.
Türkiye’s First Comprehensive Event for Intralogistics and Warehouse Systems Opens Its Doors
HOW – Hub of Warehouse Fair, Türkiye’s first comprehensive event in the field of intralogistics and warehouse systems, will open its doors between September 18-20, 2025, at the Istanbul Exhibition Center (İFM). Organized by Hannover Fairs Türkiye Fuarcılık A.Ş., the Turkish office of Deutsche Messe AG, in cooperation with İSDER and supported by AKDER, CILT Türkiye, DEPODER, ENOSAD, LODER, ROBODER, TEDAR, UTİKAD, and WiLAT, with Stokport as the solution partner, the fair will bring together the latest technologies in material handling technologies, storage and racking systems, packaging solutions, software and automation systems, warehouse solutions, robotics, AGVs, and AMRs with industry professionals.
HOW-Hub of Warehouse Fair Offers a Vision for the Future of Intralogistics Infrastructure
Mark Minasyan, Chairman of the Board of AKDER, highlighted that despite the challenges and contractions experienced in 2024, the sector continues to focus on investment-driven activities:
“2024 was a volatile but adaptive year for the fluid power sector. The first quarter was marked by cautious stagnation due to election economy effects, currency pressure, and difficulties in accessing credit. However, in the second half of the year, strategic sectors such as defense industry, rail systems, agricultural machinery, and construction saw an upswing. Demand for energy efficiency and automation solutions increased. Despite slowdowns in Europe, alternative markets such as the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkic Republics experienced growth momentum. Thus, 2024 stood out as a year with rapidly changing dynamics but high adaptability. Nonetheless, both production and sales figures remained slightly below the previous year’s levels in foreign currency terms. As of the first half of 2025, signs of some market contraction are visible. The global slowdown in Q4 2024 also weakened demand in Türkiye. Steps toward environmental technologies have accelerated. Following the contraction in the first half, the market might enter a horizontal or slightly positive growth trend in the second half. With the positive impact of green production investments and publicly supported projects, the sector is expected to close 2025 about 5-7% below last year’s foreign currency figures. For 2026, planning and strategies are being designed to achieve a stronger year both in volume and technological depth.”
“Facilitating Cross-Sector Know-How Sharing”
Minasyan emphasized the significance of HOW-Hub of Warehouse Fair as a key meeting point for the sector:
“HOW-Hub of Warehouse is not just a fair; it is the intersection of intralogistics, storage, automation, and industrial equipment sectors. For the fluid power industry, this meeting is a strategic platform where the direct application fields of our products can be observed, and partnerships are born. Thanks to this fair, not only component suppliers but also system solution providers gain visibility. The role of fluid power in Industry 4.0 integrated smart storage and automation systems is better understood. Cross-sector know-how sharing is facilitated, generating synergy. HOW-Hub of Warehouse is not merely a presentation venue but a collaborative space to shape a shared vision for the future intralogistics infrastructure.”
HOW-Hub of Warehouse Fair Brings a Broad Ecosystem Under One Roof
Sena Mengül, Project Manager of HOW-Hub of Warehouse Fair, pointed out that the event offers an important structure by bringing together a broad ecosystem under one roof and addressing not only current but also future needs:
“HOW – Hub of Warehouse is more than a trade fair; it is a strategic platform that gathers a broad ecosystem ranging from intralogistics and automation to software and storage solutions under one roof. One of our main goals is to enhance cross-sector synergy and create a foundation for value-added collaborations. The presence of the fluid power sector at HOW-Hub of Warehouse is a significant step towards this goal. Hydraulic and pneumatic systems, warehouse technologies, material handling solutions, and industrial automation are crucial elements that increase efficiency, agility, and sustainability. The wider encounter of these technologies with various sectors through our fair will contribute not only to product and solution exchange but also to establishing the integrated intralogistics infrastructure of the future. HOW-Hub of Warehouse will continue to be a visionary meeting point that responds to the needs of today and tomorrow for all participants.”
