We had established a plant on an area of 15,000 m2 in Mersin 2nd Organized Industrial Zone. We further increased the capacity of this very plant, which designs and manufactures modern machines used in the cement, mining, and land sectors.
We also bought new counters aimed at processing lengthy and heavy machine parts and thus took very important steps towards increasing the machining capacity of our production line.
Our atelier carried out the manufacturing of OYAK Adana Cement’s 350 t/h-capacity vertical raw material mill body, as well as the manufacturing of three complete roller presses to be used in cement grinding projects for Aşkale Çimento A.Ş- owned SANÇİM / Bilecik, Akoluk, Trabzon, and OYAK Aslan Cement Darıca plants. We are very happy to be able to process these heavy machine parts, which weigh about 18 metric tons and are 6.5 meters long, in our own production line at once.
We put our mark under many projects last year:
• ÇİMSA – Mersin: 150,000 metric ton capacity clinker stockhole, Building, Mechanics, Technological, and Steel Construction manufacture and assembly work,
• OYAK- Adana Cement: Complete project engineering services, construction, manufacture, and assembly work for a 350 t/h-capacity raw material grinding plant,
• OYAK- Aslan Cement: A turn-key project aimed at increasing the cement grinding capacity, complete with project engineering services, as well as construction, manufacture, and assembly work,
• OYAK- Aslan Cement: A turn- key project aimed at 500 t/h- capacity additional clinker transfer systems, complete with project engineering services, as well as construction, manufacture, and assembly work,
• Aşkale A.Ş – Bilecik SANÇİM: A turnkey project aimed at increasing the cement grinding capacity, complete with project engineering services, as well as construction, manufacture, and assembly work together with electric and automation services,
• Aşkale A.Ş – Trabzon Akoluk: A cement grinding, storing, and packaging turn-key plant project, complete with project engineering services, as well as construction, manufacture, and assembly work, together with electric and automation services,
• OYAK- Ünye Cement: A pre-heater additional tower & pyroclon line project, complete with manufacture, disassembly, and assembly work,
• OYAK- Bolu Cement: Pre-heater additional tower & pyroclon line project services,
• Samsun – KAVÇİM Cement: Manufacturing of steel palletized bands,
• Kahramanmaraş KÇS Cement, OYAK- Mardin Cement and Muş Yurt Cement: Machine manufacturing and project engineering, as well as maintenance work.
We also provided works below for cement factories in addition to our turn-key projects:
• In a total of 20 complete capacities in various states: High-speeded central chain-elevators for transferring raw material, clinker, and coal,
• In a total of 14 complete capacities in various states: Apron conveyors for transferring raw material, clinker, and coal,
• In various capacities exceeding a total length of 12 km: A design, manufacture, and assembly work for belt conveyors used for transferring raw material, clinker, and coal.
Aybars Makina will be busier in 2017
Adana Cement’s New Clinker Production Line, which is decided to be put into use in August 2017 upon an agreement signed in late 2016, will be ready following the completion of its turn-key project engineering services, manufacture, and assembly work regarding its raw mill homogenization silo, pre-heater, kiln gas system, cooling tower, clinker cooling unit, clinker stockhole, and clinker transfer systems.
We also signed a protocol aimed at a turn-key project for LİMAK Cement’s new Kilis Factory boasting a capacity of 5,000 t/g.
In addition to our domestic commitments, our international activities also continue. The turnkey project, manufacture, assembly, and electric work of a 100t/h-capacity cement grinding and packaging plant will be carried out in El Taref of Algeria for Gökay Construction.

We continue to progress with our broad innovative vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and courage. In 2017, we will open our R&D and Design Center for which we have been working for a while. With the help of this center, we will carry into effect our on-going projects and conclude the process, project, and design work of Borlu Cement Factory using boron a.k.a the “New Generation Clinker Production Sieve” – which is the most important underground treasure in our country. Thus, we will sure deliver first of its kind projects.
We will also continue to meet the needs of the cement sector by taking fast and confident steps. We hope that 2017 will bring our sector and all our shareholders luck and success.
