Kornelius Thimm new head of Customer Support
Kornelius Thimm, 35, and a colleague from Aarhus, Denmark, now comprise the team for the Customer Support Competence Center for the BEUMER Group’s 20 regional companies around the world. Thimm also heads Customer Support at headquarters in Beckum. Here, backed by a team of over 50 employees, he is laying the technical and organizational foundation for services for BEUMER products.
With its more than 75 years of market experience, the BEUMER Group focuses on offering its customers more than “just” service. “We make a special effort to identify and implement useful additional services, in this way creating added value for our customers and gaining their trust over the long term,” explains Thimm.
Thimm, a production engineer, worked at BMW for five years and gathered extensive experience in Munich and Detroit. He then attended the renowned IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he obtained an MBA. Before coming to BEUMER, he was head of business development at CONPRINTA GmbH in Göttingen, a printing technology company. Here he was responsible for setting a new course for the company and developing new markets.
