Çimko Çimento ve Beton Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş., a company under SANKO Holding umbrella, and one of the leading cement and construction materials enterprises of Turkey, put its 25th ready mixed concrete plant into operation in Gaziantep, Taşlıca.
Adil Sani Konukoğlu, SANKO Holding Board Chair, Dr. Önder Kırca, Çimko Çimento ve Beton A.Ş. Director General, and executives of the facility attended to the opening ceremony of the plant. Mr. Konukoğlu, given information on the plant, wished good outcomes from the new facility.
Dr. Önder Kırca, ÇİMKO Çimento ve Beton A.Ş. Director General, emphasizing the importance of the investments realized despite the Corona pandemics, said: “We are proud of contributing to high quality concrete production and employment.”
Dr. Önder Kırca stated; “The plant we put into service here is the ninth ready mixed concrete facility under ÇİMKO in operation in Gaziantep and the 25th one in Turkey. We are excited with having one of the investments commissioned for enabling the sector to meet quickly with the Çimko quality.”
Having mentioned that they care about putting into operation such investments to contribute to employment and economic development of Turkey and the region despite the pandemics; Dr. Kırca says “Despite the difficult times we are passing through, we continue to produce for our country acting with the sense of responsibility, and by prioritizing the health of our employees, their families, and the society.”
Dr. Kırca resumed to finish his words, saying “I hope the best out of this plant we are opening today, and thank all my fellow workers for their devoted works.”

Having joined the sector with the privatization of Adıyaman Cement Factory in 1995, SANKO continued its growth in the cement sector by putting the Narlı factory in use in 2007.
Çimko, a SANKO Holding company, became prominent in the sector and the region with Adıyaman, Narlı Cement factories, Gaziantep Packaging Facility, Kilis Packaging Facility, and the concrete plants in Gaziantep, Kilis, Adıyaman, Şanlıurfa, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya, Osmaniye, Hatay, Adana, Kayseri, and Mersin.
