An affiliate of Sabancı Holding, Çimsa disclosed the activities carried out in 2021, plans and targets for the future, and demonstrated Çimsa’s economic achievement, sustainability activities, R&D and innovation studies with the Integrated Activity Report released in March.
Çimsa takes place with its Integrated Activity Report among the winners of the International Business Awards (IBA) organized for the 19th time this year by The Stevie Awards. An affiliate of Sabancı, Çimsa was awarded with “2021 Integrated Annual Report: Shaping Today for Tomorrow” golden prize at the Stevie Awards, one of the most prestigious organizations in business life, where projects of numerous companies from 67 countries across the world are evaluated and awarded. Being evaluated by more than 300 world-renowned and successful professionals in the “Best Activity Report” category at the International Business Awards featuring various categories, the report was granted as a Gold Stevie Winner with the highest score and crowned with the golden prize.
Expressing that they are proud to receive such an award, CEO of Çimsa, Umut Zenar made the following assessment: “We tried in our 2021 Integrated Annual Report to explain the way of combining our financial outputs with our sustainability agenda, and the way that we shape the present for future generations.” We take the justified pride of the award we were deemed worthy of with our activity report which transparently communicates all of our efforts, and we are continuing our efforts for the upcoming years with the same transparency by focusing on our areas for development”.
Held with the participation of 3,700 companies of various scales from almost every sector, in the award program evaluations were made in a wide variety of categories such as Company of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Start-up of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year and Execuvite of the Year. A number of new categories to recognize the achievements of organizations and individuals in social media and thought leadership was also features in this year’s contest.
