After the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Covid 19 as the global Pandemic in March 2020, the global production and supply chain system was severely disrupted. The pandemic, which spread over such a wide area and completely affected our lives. The pandemic completely changed the forward plans of the producers and led them to seek adequate strategies and policies to overcome this process without damage. While it has become mandatory to discuss sustainable and safe production models during and after the Pandemic (Covid-19) period, many steps have been taken to overcome this crisis with the least damage and to ensure that Safe Production meets its consumers. The full adoption of the expression of confidence, which has become a necessity between the consumer and the producer, by the manufacturers, will significantly contribute to the competition and sustainability of the producers in the trade model that will occur after the Pandemic (Covid-19).

Trust-based relationships that companies will establish with their consumers and their employees in this period will bring a great advantage over their competitors in the global scope. The works to be carried out within the scope of the certification of the production and working areas of these companies will be an important step in terms of both guiding them in terms of important issues they have to fulfill and in terms of trust in their production.

The decrease we witnessed in global production with the Pandemic (Covid-19) and the negative impact on producers are proof that we are not ready for a possible Pandemic process. Pandemic (Covid-19) is a reminder that, like other rare disasters, it has happened in the past and will continue to happen in the future.

The long-term measures taken in this process are plans that will be in our favor. With this pandemic, we witnessed work with less labor or limited labor, which is the biggest factor in reducing the productivity of the production process. The spread of this pandemic through contamination in workplaces, quarantine processes, and the distrust of employees in their work environment has been adversely affected in terms of production. Therefore, there are safety measures that must be taken to improve the human side of the manufacturing process. In this context, the studies under the name Certificate Of Safe Production and Certificate Of Safe Service are comprehensive studies that are carried out to ensure the safety and hygiene environment in the work areas before the relationship between the producer-consumer. Certificate Of Safe Production and Certificate Of Safe Service, the most important issue is to prevent the occurrence of Covid-19 virus in the working environment, contamination risk, and spread.

In this process where we deal with cement plants and facilities, especially the management of common usage areas should be done with precision and meticulousness. The management of Pandemic (Covid-19) in cement plants is a bit more difficult, but much more necessary, especially due to the high number of employees. The work to be carried out in the work areas where more people are needed will bring positive effects on the employees and will provide confidence and hygiene in the work areas. The measures to be taken for the spread of the Pandemic (Covid-19) are more important than the actions to be taken after it spreads.

Awareness of the safety and hygiene of the employees in the factory and the rules to be followed in case of a possible pandemic will prevent the loss of workforce in working environments and will have positive results in production.

When we examine the decline in global production from the supplydemand perspective; It is possible to explain the decrease in production with decreasing demand. People’s concerns about their health and their desire to move away from unsafe work environments have brought about a decrease in consumption around the world.

The stagnation in cement production, which is the most important part of the building sector, is also directly proportional to the high risk of Pandemic (Covid-19) transmission. Especially the safety and hygiene measures to be taken by the factory managers are very important in terms of reviving the production-consumption relationship in the world. It is thought that trust and hygiene items will play an important role in the trade models that will take shape after the pandemic. In global trade, which will be shaped again on these norms, producers have to produce permanent and long-term solutions in order not to lose their competitiveness and sustainability.

The measures to be taken by the manufacturers should not be limited, and they should consider all possible pandemic and its dangers. The hygiene and trust provided by Certificate Of Safe Production and Certificate Of Safe Service in the working environment will also be reflected in the products. The demand for a product with proven trust will not decrease against possible different Pandemics in global trade, and the sustainability of the factories will continue in a safe environment. This document, which also requires the awareness of the employees, offers our industrial organizations “Certificate Of Safe Production” and “Certificate Of Safe Service” by the terms of the “Hygiene, Infection Control Procedure Certification Program”.

Complying with the measures required by the Hygiene, Infection Control Procedure Certification Program creates a great awareness at the point of reducing the risk of contamination.

While most of us focus on the medical science perspective on Pandemic (Covid-19), there is little work on the production and operations management perspective. Certificate Of Safe Production and Certificate Of Safe Service guide producers in global trade, in the production sector where precautions are needed to prevent this pandemic and possible pandemics rather than the remedy. Studies in this field will lead to the development of different commercial models and measures to ensure that people can continue their lives in the safest and hygienic environments and to maintain a relationship of trust in production between producers and consumers.
