Körfez Döküm, producing high alloy steel casting for cement, energy, and mining sector, continues exporting 85% of its production to various countries, primarily European countries.
Mr. Çağdaş Alan, Körfez Döküm Director General, stated their pride in exporting to various geographies from their Dilovası plant as well as of increasing the number of countries and customers to which they export. Remarking that they aim to increase again the number of countries they export in 2021, Mr. Alan told us that they are increasing the capacities of their plants.
Mr. Alan also believes that their enterprises and our country will overcome this challenging period faced by the world with minimum losses. Furthermore, Mr. Alan remarked that they continue investing particularly in information technologies in consideration of the dynamics of the sector, support many of their services online, and accordingly, are happy to fulfill the demands of their customers even in case of travel restrictions, and that they their success is because of putting the customer satisfaction always and under all circumstances to the center of all processes.
Emphasizing the necessity of constant development in the iron and steel sector as the case is with all the sectors, Mr. Alan said that they improved their facilities in line with Industry 4.0, and created a dynamic working environment by investing to human resources with innovative training courses in order to sustain development of the staff of professionals.
