OYAK Cement, which recently launched Alfacem, the first ‘CEM VI’ class product in the Turkish cement industry to receive a G certificate of conformity, and ‘KarBeyaz’, a low carbon and high whiteness product, has now produced ‘Novocem’.
Novocem, a new product from OYAK Cement, the market and capacity leader in Turkey’s cement industry, offers exceptional resistance to environmental effects wherever it is applied. Novocem, a product with minimal carbon emissions due to its additive content of 36 to 50 percent, distinguishes out for its extensive application range.
Calcined clay is a binder that has a carbon footprint that can be up to 90% lower than Portland clinker. It is produced by OYAK Cement, which has the first cement factory in the world with calcined clay integration.
Exports to 85 countries
OYAK Cement, a subsidiary of the OYAK Group, exports its goods to 85 nations, among them the United States, Russia, Israel, Romania, and Morocco.
