Organized by Turkish Cement Producers’ Association (TCMB) in collaboration with main sponsors Baştaş & Konya Cement / Ready-Mix Concrete, the CONCRETE ART ARCHITECTURE SUMMER SCHOOL is held at TOBB Economy and Technology University with the theme “Standardization” from July 27th to August 5th, 2019 Brought into life with the support of industrial professionals, academicians and leading institutions in the field, Summer School has been attended over 500 young people so far.
Organized at TOBB Economy and Technology University, CONCRETE ART Architecture Summer School 2019 has ended with an exhibition of artworks created by 30 students in 6 workshops.
In her address at the closing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nur Çağlar, the Head of Department of Architecture of TOBB Economy and Technology University, said “At CONCRETE ART Architecture Summer School, we have been very happy for being together with students from different cities. We like TOBB ETU Campus so much and your artworks has brushed a nice touch. I would like to thank my young colleagues who attended to the summer school, TOBB ETU personnel, our Curator and coordination team”.

In this course, we get around 500 young architects to meet and be familiar with concrete. CONCRETE ART Architecture Summer School was held this year under the theme of “Standardization” with the support of Nur Çağlar as academic consultant, Selda Bancı as curator, and as moderators Refa Emrali, Jorge Mealha, Alper Aksoy, Serkan Karaaslan, Yunus Özmerdivenli, Ramazan Avcı, Ozan Gürsoy, Aktan Acar, Murat Sönmez, Aslı Özbek and Nihat Eyce. Providing a meeting venue for students of Architecture who completed their junior years, 10-days long CONCRETE ART Architecture Summer School has ended with an exhibition of artworks created by students and a certificate ceremony.
