Technologies for reducing the environmental impact of cement factories are increasing day by day. How do you think carbon neutral factories will affect the future of the cement industry?
Currently, there is no building material that can replace cement. It is unlikely to happen in the near future. Therefore, even if the need for cement decreases, this will continue. Carbon neutral factories will add new techniques to the techniques applied in cement production processes and increase the number of expertise. Carbon capture systems will most likely affect our working habits and bring new dynamics. In this context, I believe that important changes are at our door in a short time.

What kind of sensitivity do you, as a company, show about the environment? What are the strategies you follow and actions you take in this field?
The environment is where we are most sensitive. Every year, we make various improvements in this framework. By taking a radical step in this field, we have started an investment in order to both renew our technology and be more environmentally friendly. While reducing our emissions even further, we aim to maximize our already high environmental awareness by increasing our closed stock areas.
