Kentçim Çimento San A.Ş., grown rapidly in the Aegean Region in recent years with its dynamic and competitive structure, has increased its market share in the cement and ready-mixed concrete sector, and started to work to establish a new integrated cement pant in Yatağan district of Muğla.

 Kentçim Çimento San A.Ş.  awarded BCE Proses Mühendislik & Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti in May 2020 for the process design and project integration of the new integrated cement plant to be established. In the statement made by the company, it is said that the work on the facility is continuing at full speed.

The company finally completed its work on pyro-process design in August and reached to an agreement with IKN GmbH, one of the world’s leading suppliers in its field. The agreement for cooperation was signed between Cemal Karakurt representing Muğla Çimento San A.Ş. and Klaas Windmöller representing IKN GmbH.

The new facility, which will have a clinker production capacity of 4.250 tons / day, will consist of 6-stage pre-heater with precalciner, rotary kiln and clinker cooling units, all based on the latest technology of IKN GmbH.

It is stated that the integrated cement plant, which will be started to be built by keeping energy efficiency and environmental factors in the foreground, will have an important export potential, especially with its proximity to Güllük Port.
