With an “international” experience of almost 50 years in the cement and construction materials sector, George Thomas has been assigned to serve as an independent member at the board of Çimko Çimento ve Beton Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. a SANKO Holding company.
Thomas who offers services in a wide range of fields from engineering and R&D to technical management and consultancy has an extensive knowledge and experience in the global cement sector, regional and local market dynamics, as well as growth and expansion opportunities.
Thomas worked for many years as a senior executive responsible for cement and building materials at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) the private sector branch of the World Bank Group. He also acted as the independent board member of the leading sector players for ten years.
George Thomas has started his work at Çimko Çimento ve Beton Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. as an independent board member.
