Çimento C. Additives performed well until the last quarter of 2021, in parallel with Cement production, despite the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic. After 2020, when the sector experienced growth, sales increased in 2021 with the reopening of the market and the base effect. We believe that in the last quarter of the year, due to the decrease in cement production, and the decline in domestic sales and exports, the cement additives industry was also affected.
Almost all the raw materials of Çimento C. Additives’ production come from abroad, which is why the disruption of the global supply chain due to the pandemic, and the unpredictable increases
in freight-container and raw material prices, are among the most important developments in 2021.
We provided complete service at every stage with our factories in 3 different regions
While we shape our business processes according to the new situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have prioritized the health and safety of our employees. We informed all our employees about the ways of protection from the pandemic, hygiene, rotating work, travel, service, fever measurement, and issues to be considered in the office, on the field and in common areas. We transitioned to the remote working model in many departments.
We have implemented action plans to ensure the continuity of our operations and to ensure the uninterrupted service we provide to our customers. By keeping our necessary stocks for the demand from the field, we carried out uninterrupted production at the Dilovası, Adana and Samsun factories. With the advantageous location provided by our factories operating in 3 different regions of Turkey, we have provided our customers with timely technical service, and product deliveries, sales, and marketing services without delay.
We aim to accelerate our brand awareness studies in foreign markets
In 2022, we will rapidly continue to shape our activities within the framework of a flexible and
agile brand vision with a global perspective, focusing on sustainability and innovation. We will implement our strategies in line with the common targets we have set in our operations and the market share – profitability optimization analysis. We will accelerate our studies in this field with the aim of increasing our brand awareness in foreign markets.
